I am happy to announce that I have a painting included in the Wales Contemporary Exhibition from October 21st to December 20th in Milford Haven, Wales at the Waterfront Gallery.

I'll be showing a bunch of my work in the upcoming Brushworks Show & Sale along with quite a few of my artist friends. There will be a huge price range so hopefully you can find something within your budget that you'd like to hang on your wall. There will be lots of Artist cards for sale as well. Come on out and support local artists.

My oil painting ''Orion'' is included in the show this year. Orion was also longlisted for the Jackson's Art Painting Prize earlier this year and has received one of the three Juror's Award prizes in this year's show.

My oil painting "Chalk Headland" is included in this show. It has now sold.

I have been invited to show 2 of my paintings in this year's Winter Small Works Show and Sale at The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. Breton Islands off of Quadra (16x20 oil) and August Evening, Moon Pool (12x12 oil) will be on display and available to purchase from November 19th to January 29th.

ABOUT THE SOOKE FINE ARTS SHOW
The Sooke Fine Arts Show provides the opportunity for the finest artists from Vancouver Island and BC’s coastal islands to showcase and sell their work each summer. The Show will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2021, and is Vancouver Island’s longest-running juried fine art show. The 2021 Show runs from July 23 – August 2.

The show offers a variety of events over its 11-day run. It all kicks off with an opening night (“Purchasers’ Preview Event”) on July 22, 2021, where keen art lovers will have the first glimpse at our 2021 gallery. Once the show opens on July 23, guests may enjoy a variety of video artist demonstrations, live talks, music links, and kids activities.

This will be my 4th consecutive year that I have had my work shown in this exhibition and sale. I have my oil painting, "Inglewood Corner Store, Winter" included in the show this year.

DRAWING 2021 is an on line exhibition and sale of drawings by Canadian Artists. My pen and ink with ink wash drawing, "Willow", is included in the show organized and hosted by the John B Aird Gallery in Toronto Ontario.

My painting, "Fossil Beach, Hornby", is included in this show and sale.

I will have two paintings in this show and sale which combines floral arrangements inspired by painted works of art by several Vancouver Island artists. While the floral arrangements will be removed on May 19th the paintings remain up until closing on June 2nd.

Group Show

A pop up gallery show - Part of the Comox Valley ELEVATE ARTS FESTIVAL.

I'll be showing two paintings along with members of the Brushworks painting group over the long weekend at the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park on the shore at Comox.

I have five paintings in this annual weekend group show this year. All paintings in the show are 12x12" and are priced at $200 each. Opening night is the best night to come by from 7 to 10 pm for food and drink and a chance to see all the art and meet the artists. Of course you can also visit during the day on Saturday and Sunday from 11 until 4 but your favourite painting may be gone by then.

Art Alchemy is located at 362C 10th street in Courtenay.
